SERVERKODE / BRANDING

Branding and visual identity for your business.

We turn the direction of your business into a visual identity you can actually use. From the logo to colours, typography and essential materials, each element is designed to work as part of one coherent brand.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Identity starts with what you stand for.

Before designing, we want to understand the business: what it offers, who it serves and how it wants to be perceived. We review existing material and the contexts where the identity will appear. This creates a reasoned direction, rather than one based only on passing preferences or a visual style that looks good in a presentation.

A useful identity needs to work on a website, a social profile, documents and the materials your business actually uses. We therefore consider it a system, not simply a logo. We establish how the elements relate to each other and how they can be used consistently, including when different people are responsible for creating new material.

An existing identity can be applied to a website design. This service focuses on creating or refining the identity itself: the logo, colours, typography and guidelines for using them.

WHAT WE CAN DELIVER

The details that
make a difference.

The exact scope, timeline and deliverables are defined in your project proposal.

01

A clear visual direction

We outline the character, audience and main uses of the brand. Visual references help establish a shared direction before identity concepts are developed, providing a practical basis for discussing and evaluating the design.

02

Logo and variations

We develop the logo and agreed variations for different applications. Small sizes, light and dark backgrounds and a single-colour version are considered, so the design is evaluated beyond one ideal presentation setting.

03

Colour, typography and elements

We select a palette and typographic hierarchy that can be used consistently. Depending on the project, the identity may also include graphic shapes, a photography direction or supporting elements for digital content and communication.

04

Materials and guidance

We prepare files for approved uses and guidance for the logo, colours and typography. Document or social-media templates are included when specified in the proposal, with necessary formats and external licences clarified.

HOW WE WORK

From the first conversation
to handover.

  1. Find the direction

We discuss the business, its audience and the impression you want to create. Together, we define the main applications, required materials and criteria that will guide the evaluation of the concepts.

  2. Develop the identity

We present the visual direction and develop it through agreed review stages. Decisions are linked to the needs of the brand and practical examples of use, not just the logo viewed on its own.

  3. Prepare for everyday use

We organise the handover files and explain the main rules. Your team then has a reference for future materials and knows which version to use in each of the agreed applications.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clarity, before
we begin.

Can you improve our existing identity?

Yes. We can retain the elements that still have value and improve those that no longer work well. First, we decide whether a considered refresh or a more complete change is needed, and identify the materials that will require updating.

Are naming and trademark registration included?

Only if a related service is expressly described in the proposal. Identity design does not replace legal checks or trademark registration. Requirements for naming, checks and external services should be clarified at the beginning rather than assumed to be part of the design work.

Which files will I receive?

Formats are determined by the agreed uses and may include vector files, screen-ready versions and material for print. Handover details, usage rights and licences for fonts or third-party elements are clarified in the agreement, so the intended applications are understood.
