SERVERKODE / APPLICATIONS

Business applications and custom software.

We create applications for processes that scattered spreadsheets and disconnected conversations no longer handle well. From an internal dashboard to a customer portal, the features are shaped around real work and the people doing it.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Software that follows your process.

Every business has its own way of organising work. Sometimes an existing tool is the right choice; sometimes the process calls for a custom solution. We begin by understanding who will use the system, what information they need and where delays or repeated tasks occur. Adding more features is not a goal in itself.

The project might involve an administration dashboard, a portal, records, approval flows or a tool for tracking jobs. Business rules and access levels are clarified before development. If information needs to come from other systems, we check their technical capabilities and restrictions. The application is built in stages, giving priority to what your team needs to do its work.

An application can bring appointments, customers or orders into one place where your team works. Automation connects tools and workflow steps, such as passing a form enquiry to email, and can complement the application where needed.

WHAT WE CAN DELIVER

The details that
make a difference.

The exact scope, timeline and deliverables are defined in your project proposal.

01

A clear process map

We describe the users, tasks, information and key decisions. This helps define the first version and distinguish essential features from ideas that can be developed later, keeping the initial project focused and understandable.

02

An interface built for work

We organise screens, forms and frequently used actions. The aim is for your team to understand where they are, what needs completing and what happens after an action, without unnecessary complexity in everyday tasks.

03

Logic and system connections

We develop approved features, user roles and agreed integrations. Imports, exports and data validation rules are planned around the format and quality of existing sources, with the limitations of external systems made explicit.

04

Testing and guidance

We check main user journeys, permissions and situations where things do not go as expected. We prepare team guidance and clarify responsibilities for administration, backups and further support as part of the agreed handover.

HOW WE WORK

From the first conversation
to handover.

  1. Understand the current workflow

We review the process with the people who use it every day. Concrete examples help establish the requirements, constraints and priorities that will guide the first version of the application.

  2. Explore and develop

We clarify screens and workflows before full development. Features are built in reviewable stages, allowing feedback from practical use to inform the next decisions instead of leaving all discussion until the end.

  3. Prepare for everyday use

We test agreed scenarios and plan the move into the system. Data migration, team onboarding and maintenance are included according to the agreement, with responsibilities and next steps clearly documented.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Clarity, before
we begin.

Do we definitely need a new application?

Not always. We first consider whether an existing tool or a straightforward integration can meet the need. Custom development makes sense when your requirements and working methods justify the effort of building and maintaining a dedicated application.

Can it connect to software we already use?

That depends on the system, its APIs, available access and documentation. We check these before confirming an integration. Licences, restrictions and charges from external providers are clarified during planning rather than assumed to be included.

Can we add features later?

Yes, development can be planned in stages. The first version concentrates on agreed needs, while new requests are assessed separately. This keeps the scope understandable and allows future decisions to be informed by how the team actually uses the application.

Which process would you like to simplify?

Tell us how you work today and where things become difficult. We will start with the process, then explore the solution.
